An active member of the medical community for over 18 years, Dr. McCaffrey has overseen the treatment of more than 20,000 injured patients.

Dr. Scott Morioka

Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Morioka returned after 14 years of medical train ing to join WorkStar.

Dr. Xuong Tang

Of Chinese ancestry, Dr. Tang was born in Vietnam and immigrated to Olympia Washington in 1980.

Dr. Carl Hodel

What do Dr. Carl Hodel and the legendary Daniel Boone have in common? They both hail from Boonville, Missouri, a small farming community which further secured its place in history as the start of the fabled Lewis & Clark expedition!

Dr. Clayton Everline

He was born in Short Hills, New Jersey, and raised in La Jolla, California. An interest in surfing developed at a young age and he was able to combine his love of surfing with his desire to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Richard Himmelmann

Dr. Himmelmann is certified by the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics and the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Gabe Merrill PA-C

Married into a fifth-generation Ewa Beach family, Gabe Merrill joined WorkStar in 2004. However, his passion for health care began in high school during a volunteer job as an emergency medical technician. After high school he attended Southern Illinois University and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development in 2000.

Todd Uchima PA-C

Born and raised on Oahu where he graduated from Pearl City High School, Todd's interest in the medical field developed during a summer internship at Pali Momi Medical Center. The positive feedback he received from grateful patients during that summer internship altered the course of his life forever.

Eva Shear PA-C

Eva Shear is originally from Germany, where she studied medicine at the University of Dusseldorf until she moved to Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her training as a Physician Assistant in Maryland, and began working in internal medicine.

Marietes Inofinada (Tes)

Born and raised on the Island of Molokai Tes moved to Oahu in 1985 and attended Mililani High School. After graduation she went to Leeward Community College, completed an Associate in Science degree.

Prima Alvarez

Originally from the Philippines, Prima immigrated to Hawaii with her family in 1985. She was raised in Wahiawa, located on the island of Oahu, on the plateau between two volcanic mountains which comprise the central valley.

Jonna Oleniacz

A product of the Pacific Northwest, Jonna jumpstarted her career in health care at the tender young age of 19 when she began work as a medical assistant for her father, Ken Synder, MD, a general practice physician in Spokane,Washington.
